Most of the systems are aimed at Dijon in central France where the G.R.A.V.E.S. transmitter is operating 24/7 to detect satellites and space debris for the French Government. This radar signal is used to detect meteors entering Earth’s atmosphere. Reflected radar signals are detected by antennas which are then analyzed by computers and displayed live on the screens |
